Most aftermarket bash plate kits offer little or no protection for the transfer case in the Pajero Sport. This transfer case protection plate was designed as one element of our full UVP kits for both the Pajero Sport and the MQ/MR Triton, and due to popular demand, we've made it available as a standalone product.
It is compatible with the stock factory bash plates as well as any aftermarket bash plate system that doesn't extend beyond the cross-member that separates the gearbox and transfer case, unless those plates are trimmed.
Some well known kits extend the gearbox plate over the transfer case but leave it hanging in mid-air. Trimming that plate back to where it bolts onto the cross-member and then adding this transfer case plate provides full transfer case protection.
