The Pajero Sport and Triton's weak factory bash plate mounts, where the first and second plates are attached, are notoriously weak and known to break simply by fitting thicker and more rigid bash plates.
This bracket was designed as a key element of our full UVP kits for both the Pajero Sport and the MQ/MR Triton, and is designed to help take the strain these mounts endure, either through impacts or day to day chassis movement, by transferring the load into the chassis cross-member it is attached to.
This strengthening bracket is bolted to the round cross-member located above the bash plate brackets using either a Versa Nut (if you have the tool available) or nut plates, both of which are supplied with the bracket.
This bracket will work with any bash plates that use the stock factory mounts.
Check out our UVP product video and fitting instructions under the other tabs in this listing to see how it is fitted and how it works.
